Soccer Foes Meet Their Match

If you live in a climate like ours, you will understand.

When your kids play outdoor sports in the spring and fall, at some point (or all) they will be exposed to sweat, dirt, wind, rain, mud, and likely snow.

Besides being prepared for any type of weather during the game, Moms are also dealing with the laundry consequences of children participating in these outdoor sports.

Yay!

It’s not just about the sweaty ecstatic player who just scored SIX goals!!

It’s also about the support crew that came to watch and cheer.

Everyone gets wet and muddy.

We need all the help we can get when it comes to getting everything clean after every game (by the way four kids in soccer means eight games and four practices a week).

Twelve outdoor sessions per week.

No wonder we killed a washing machine and dryer last season…..poor things.

Besides upgrading our washer and dryer, we were searching for something to help everything smell clean.

Even washing with a good laundry soap and drying thoroughly wasn’t quite removing the smell permanently (the uniforms, especially the socks, would almost start to smell before we used them next).

Not only do you have to deal with smelly uniforms in the car on the way home and while they sit in the dirty laundry hamper until you wash them, then you have them hanging in the closet (not smelling their best).

I had to do something….so we went on an adventure down the laundry aisle at our neighborhood store.

I just started picking up everything and smelling each one.

If you squeeze the bottle, the smell will escape and waft up to you (so don’t lean too close or squeeze too hard).

It was love at first smell!!
