Hello and Welcome to our Fun Family Blog!
Our story began fifteen years ago in a college class when a bold young man sat down next to a quiet young woman and a beautiful friendship, courtship, and family life began. We have been blessed over the years with six beautiful children that make life exhausting and unbelievably rewarding! Our greatest joy comes from our children.
We try to fill our family time with wholesome activities and character building responsibilities. We were taught that when you expect more, people (and children) will expect more of themselves. We are so proud of all of the life skills our children are learning at a young age.

Meet Spencer
Spencer has found success in his career as a professional educator, earning his Bachelor’s Degree in Math Education in 2011 and a Master’s Degree in Education in 2015. He teaches full time at a secondary school and teaches night classes at local higher education institutions. He also runs a YouTube channel with thousands of math tutorial videos he created to help students with math problems ranging from 7th grade Algebra to College Math 1010 courses.
Spencer loves to watch international rugby matches, play rugby with his kids, and spend time with his family. He also enjoys playing basketball, rugby, and racquetball.
Meet Savannah
Savannah has dedicated the past 11 years to raising and nurturing her six children. She has become an expert in home and time organization and runs this blog to help other mothers achieve more sanity in their lives by implementing the proven strategies found here.
Savannah loves to spend time with her family, read, have family movie nights and read-a-thons, and hike the beautiful Rocky Mountains.
Meet Z-Girl!
Our family couldn’t function without our eldest daughter Z-girl! She is the kindest, most patient and loving big sister that anyone could ask for. She plays with her siblings, helps to take care of them, and most of all makes sure that everyone in our family feels loved.
Z-girl loves to play soccer, basketball, volleyball, and tennis. She also loves to run track (definitely her father’s daughter!) and ride her bike. She likes to read and is involved with student council at school.
Meet J-Man!
We are so thankful for our eldest son J-Man! He is extremely smart in math and spacial concepts (so he loves building with Legos). He has a tender heart and would do anything to help someone who is sad or hurting, especially babies and young children.
J-Man loves to play soccer and basketball, and ride his bike outdoors. His favorite thing to do is re-purpose cardboard into toys and creations that he designs and makes himself, including simple machines and scale models of various buildings and toys.
Meet P-Man!
P-Man is our family’s Ray of Sunshine! He is the sweetest, kindest, most angelic boy and is happy ALL of the time. His smile is unbelievable, his laughter is infectious, and he loves to wink at girls and hold open doors for them. He was born with a congenital hearing loss and has worn a hearing aid since he was three but nothing slows this boy down or can dampen his happy spirit.
P-Man is our most athletic child and thinks something is wrong if he is not playing sports every second of every day. He loves to play soccer, basketball, baseball, rugby, and ride his skateboard and bike. He is a nurturing soul and you can often hear him on the field directing and coaching his teammates during the game, or at school helping new classmates adjust.
Meet S-Girl!
When S-Girl joined our family they definitely broke the mold! She is a sassy, sweet, determined little princess that is also fiercely loyal to her family and friends. She poses dramatically for pictures and wants to wear dresses and sparkly shoes. Everywhere.
She is thriving in ballet class this year and loves to be with her friends at school. She loves everything princess and unicorns. She is protective of her siblings and we just couldn’t imagine our lives without her!
Meet M-Boy!
M-Boy is our hilarious little professor. He is most often serious and calculated in what he says and has fantastic comedic timing. He is a quiet boy and often dramatically sulky, yet he has the sweetest heart and loves his family members.
M-Boy loves to have dance parties, play outside, and eat lunch with Gramma. He loves life the most when the house is full of siblings to play with.
Meet E-Girl!
Our little E-Girl is the perfect caboose to our family. She is sweet tempered and loving but will stand up for herself if she feels like she needs to. She is learning to walk and talk more every day. She asks all day long for Z-Girl and Dada when they are gone from the home.
Like all babies she loves to explore and she tries to climb up or on everything. She throws a fit at the park if we don’t let her go down every slide 100 times. She wants to do everything her siblings are doing and loves the attention and love that they give her.
