We are honored that Motherhood Ten Minutes At A Time was nominated for the Versatile Blogger Award!

Thanks for thinking of us Cassandra!
One:
I have been blessed with an amazing husband and six beautiful children.
There truly is no greater joy possible than the joy I receive caring for my family and witnessing my children grow up.
They are beautiful, kind, smart, hilarious, good-natured, and human.
They are not perfect individuals but they are perfect for me.
Two:
I love where I live.
I love beautiful mountain views outside of every window and the gorgeous changing of seasons.
I love the infinite amount of beautiful day trips within a few hours of our home.
Most of all, I love that we live near both of our families so our kids have cousins to grow up with.
Three:
I have alligator skin hands.
It’s true.
Between all those dishes and diaper changes, I look like I am wearing alligator skin gloves.
Totally worth it!
Four:
Even though I HATE spiders, I love to be outside gardening.
This past summer we built large grow boxes for next spring.
I have been hard at work planning and preparing the soil for what I will be growing.
Cantaloupe and tomatoes top the list.
Five:
My favorite food is popcorn.
Seriously, that is my answer when someone asks me.
I have favorite entrees but popcorn is my all-time favorite food.
Six:
I have always been fascinated with how people live.
I want to visit Europe to see ancient buildings and learn how the architects and craftsmen lived.
I want to visit the South Pacific to learn in person how ancient Pacific Islanders traveled from island to island.
I love to learn what people ate, how they traveled, what occupations they had, and what family life looked like for each culture.
People and civilizations throughout history are SO interesting!
I believe it’s very true that we have so much to learn from all of our world ancestors.
They have a lifetime of wisdom to share with us.
Seven:
I love to plan kids’ parties!
Birthday parties, holiday parties, community events, school class parties, you name it!
I love to plan them and then watch my kids’ faces as they play the games with their friends.
The most rewarding thing about kids’ parties is when your child hugs you and tells you thanks for planning the BEST party EVER!
I love making them happy, and it’s therapeutic for me to plan them.
They don’t always turn out Pinterest perfect, but the kids usually don’t care because they are having too much fun.
We would like to nominate the following blogs for Versatile Blogger Award:
Congratulations to all of you lovely bloggers!
I look forward to learning more about each of you in your Versatile Blogger Award post.

It’s so nice getting to know you more! Thank you so much for nominating me. You don’t know how much it means to me because I honestly started blogging last year and I figured…hey no one will probably read my stuff but oh well I love to write! Lol so honestly its so nice you noticed me. Very humbling! I cannot wait to write mine! You’re family looks so sweet. I love popcorn too. And I’m glad you realize that pinterest parties don’t matter as long as the kids have so much fun! I’ll be looking out for your posts! Have a happy Thanksgiving!

I am so glad I found your blog, I absolutely LOVE your post about Being Generous on a Tight Budget!! The world needs more people like you reminding us of our capabilities (instead of our shortcomings). This article touched my heart and reminded me how much I am truly able to help others. Thank you so much for sharing your perspective Ü
